In the third installment of their annual theater cabaret, Lighthouse Ladies presents "A Night of Unstageable Works": eight new performances that bring non-theatrical texts under the spotlight. Paintings, poems, historical documents, social media posts—you name it, we stage it! This year's theme, "Pieces of Resistance", invites emerging theatre-makers to take inspiration from both traditional protest art and more unconventional modes of resistance. The evening will also include two visual installations, following the same theme, to entice audiences before and at the intermission of the show. From court documents to work emails, from Reddit threads to scientific research on ants (yes, really), join us as we play, struggle, and experiment to put these works onstage.
